Both Owen and myself are completely exhausted after practice. Weâre working hard to clinch a spot in the Atlantic division. Itâs going to be tight between us and a few other teams, but itâs possible. The Bruins all but have the top spot right now, the Red Wings and the Lightning are going to be our biggest competition. Itâs going to be hard getting that conference title, but fuck do I want it.
This season started off with me wanting to go out with a bang and end on top, but now itâs turned more into giving Owen his dream and starting my pack. I can finally start to see the end of the tunnel. Leaving hockey isnât an option, but leaving the current level Iâm at is an absolute must.
The drive home is tense. With Owenâs new meds, by the end of the day his scent gets stronger. Weâve been smart about how we time things, but also make sure that heâs being safe. My dick doesnât get this memo, however. I want to grab the Omega by his arm and hurl him onto my lap, but with how tired he looks, I canât possibly do that to him.
Not to mention our house is under an unspoken celibacy pact right now. My fist has never seen so much action in my life. Iâve been wanting to throw an idea out to the both of them, but Iâm not sure how they would take it. The last time I did anything sexual was that night that Owen came over here in distress. I havenât touched Piper in weeks, and Iâve been craving it.
I was being honest when I said that them being scent matches doesnât bother me. I donât feel less than. Currently, Iâm their solution. Neither of them will go into a pheromone filled spiral over me. Is it bad I want my roommates to use me to their content?
âIs Piper home?â he asks.
âYeah, she should be. I think she got off around three, but she might be sleeping.â
âIâ¦â he trails off and shakes his head.
âWhat?â
He sighs. âCan I sleep in your room tonight?â
âYou can have whatever you want,â I tell him.
He rolls his eyes but smiles and gets out of the car. When we enter the house, there are already salads waiting for us. Piper sits at the table and smiles when we enter. Her smile quickly falters, and I can tell sheâs scenting Owen.
Iâm drawn to Owen, I want him constantly, but I know the draw for Piper is even more intense. If Iâm patient, then sheâs in a whole other class of her own.
I look over at Owen, and his pupils are blown to hell.
âFuck, Iâll go to my room,â Piper says, grabbing her salad and getting up like sheâs ready to leave.
âWait,â I say, and they both stop what theyâre doing and look at me. âWhat⦠what if I was the buffer for you two?â
âWhat?â Owen says.
âYouâve both been struggling. I mean, my right wrist is tired, so I can only imagine how you two feel.
